Are you looking for birth control but on a tight budget? You can apply to us, and we’ll cover the costs!

We can cover the costs of: IUDs, copper IUDs, Implanon, birth control pills, NuvaRing, birth control patches, and 3-month injections.

• You live in Hamburg

• You are at least 22 years old

You receive one of the following social benefits:

• Citizen's Income (Job Center benefit) (SGB II)

• Basic Income Support / Assistance with Living Expenses (SGB XII)

• Asylum Seekers Benefits Act (AsylbLG)

• Housing Allowance (WoGG)

• Child Supplement (KiZ)

• Vocational Training Assistance (BAföG)

• Vocational Training Allowance (BAB)

OR we calculate low income (pursuant to Section 85 of SGB XII)

You can schedule an in-person or phone appointment. During the appointment, we will verify that your documents are complete and determine whether we can cover the costs. Alternatively, you can send us the application along with all supporting documents via email or mail. You can find the form here in German and English.

Please do not pay anything in advance!

• We cannot reimburse costs; we can only pay the pharmacy or doctor’s office directly.

• If coverage is approved, we will send you the approval by mail or give it to you in person.

• The approval is valid for 3 months.

• The approval is for the pharmacy and/or your doctor’s office.
